This format is based on the system used in England.
Entrants must achieve an 80% pass for Judge in the theory exam then perform two Shitei Kata as a practical assessment. One Kata must be from their own style and one from another style of their choice. (Association) Table Assistant Judge 'B' Judge 'A' Tatami Chief

Entrants must achieve an 80% pass for Judge and 90% pass for Referee in the theory exam. New entrants may only achieve Judge level. Final ratification and practical assessment will be made at a National Governing Body supported national championships.
